Rainbow Cuisine


You are supposed to eat all the colours of the rainbow every day to stay healthy, no? This was my dinner the other night. 



For  mains there was buttermilk chicken, red pepper and yogurt sauce, purple potato mash & sprouting broccoli. For afters, I made blueberry and pineapple fruit salad with mint & lime dressing. Red, purple, green, yellow, blue. And I counted the chicken as orange, okay?! Even though in some circles poultry may not be considered one of your 5-a-day...

  1. Hahaha, did the chickens eat a lot of oranges? ;) Looks super delicious! And I love the concept of the rainbow diet, my diet is lacking in purple and blue though. Sounds like an excuse for blueberry pancakes to me!

  2. Did the purple potatoes taste ok?
    I grew some last year and I didn't like them... nor did they stay purple, grey mash isn't a pretty.
