Fine Tuning: Barenaked Ladies - Lovers In A Dangerous Time

The Barenaked Ladies are THE Canadian band. For me they are, anyway.

This song originally is by Bruce Cockburn.

Don't the hours go shorter as the days go by?

We never get to stop and open our eyes.

One minute your waiting for the sky to fall, and next you're dazzled
by the beauty of it all.

Lovers in a dangerous time.

These fragile bodies of touch and taste.

This fragrant skin, this hair like lace.

Spirits open to a thrust of grace.

Never a breath you can afford to waste

Lovers in a dangerous time.

When you're lovers in a dangerous time, sometimes you're made to feel
as if your love's a crime.

Nothing worth having comes without some kind of fight.

Got to kick at the darkness till it bleeds daylight.

Lovers in a dangerous time.

We were lovers in a dangerous time.

  1. I love Barenaked Ladies too, I have A Million Dollars as my alarm tone on my phone, so I never fail to wake up in a good mood! Excited to see you have a blog, since I am so nosy about people- I knew moving blogs was a good idea!

  2. Happy Weekend to you to! My cousins and I did a concert for our parents where we sang If I had a Million Dollars... I hope that video never re-surfaces!
