I the run-up to our wedding, I thought a lot about what little things we could do for our guests to make them as happy as we were surely going to be on the day. That thought process spawned the making of over a hundred little love heart buttons for them to wear to share in our joy. Well, actually: the ordering of over a hundred little love heart buttons... I imagined they'd be like little boutonnières and corsages for everyone.
Slowly turning it into THE symbol for our wedding day, I send the little Home Sweet Home heart off to the Wee Badgers, who kindly made it into custom pins (for a small fee). We then displayed the pins right by the entrance to the reception, together with the table plan, encouraging people to take one.
As you can see, the
Tolsby frame again did a great job advertising our little badges.
Here are a few photos of the hearts in action:
Since the wedding, I have seen the badges on the lapels and bags of a few of our friends and families, which pleases me no end. I have one pinned to my camera bag, too, and Marco one to his backpack! And I might even give one or two away to one of you crazy readers soon...
