Photo Challenge: Edit Me

I am taking part in this week's Edit Me challenge over at My Reflection Of Something. My editing tools are pretty basic, I only use Picasa and Picnik.

On top, the photo that was to be edited.

And here is what I did with it.

In Picasa, I used saturation to bring out the colours and then edited the rest with Picnik. I used a 60s vintage photo effect to make the colours appear warmer. This also rounded the edges. I then used some of the various stickers on offer to add the heart, birds and vines. I'm not quite sure what I feel about the end result, but hey, I gave it a try!

  1. Hello Annika:
A second attempt to comment, the first having disappeared into the ether!

We are amazed! Amazed that you have been able so completely to transform an original photograph into a completely different image and one which conveys an entirely different mood and message. The result we think is very jolly indeed.

Thank you so much for the comments on our posts, and to which we have replied. We shall hope to welcome you again.

  2. How funky and surreal! I am so glad you had fun with it! We learn so much when we jump in with both feet and play around!
