Roses From My Garden

I am entering this into Lisa's Creative Exchange this week.

We inherited some very mature rose bushes when we moved into our house. Every year I can hardly wait for them to open their petals to the sun. And when they finally burst into bloom, I make sure to go into the garden at least once a day to smell their sweet perfume. They usually carry flowers well into the fall.

They are a thing of perfect beauty.

  2. Aren't roses just out of this world? I buy rose bushes every year because they rarely survive the winter. Now I'm waiting on three to bloom so I can enjoy that heavenly fragrance and beautiful color, too. Your bucket of blooms is fabulous.

  13. This is such a lovely boquet of flowers and wonderful styling. My mum always had hundreds of roses in her garden which bloomed two times a year - spring and autumn. Can almost smell them now.
